Did that mod a couple of years ago along with a bigger battery pack. I have yet to run the battery out in a whole days worth of running.

I just craked my dx3 and it has the same voltage regulator, so I think I'm gonna try it with my transmitter too.:-P

This mod is GREAT. I did this, and put in a larger pack. Plenty of TX power for the entire day.

I have a DX6 with the mod as well. I love the mod but I had an unrelated problem with the programming swithches. I sent it to Spektrum and they fixed it, but they voided any future warranty because of it. Just food for thought.

Works 100% with the DX2/3 and 2.0/3.0 series. Not applicable to the DX3R though.....

I have modded radios for several local guys. Takes about 15 mins to do.
