Default E-Maxx EVX ESC good for dual motor crawling?

Anyone running this esc for a dual motor setup? I'd like to start a super comp crawler using RC4WD raptor axles.

two battery inputs and two motor outputs

Just run a CC BEC with the EVX and it will work fine.

Good idea I can't see why it wouldn't work. It would be even cooler to set a dig on it as well.

Well, I had an old E-Maxx that I parted out but kept the electronics. So I have the ESC. As for the dig....I have a good idea. Small servo hooked to an arm that turns a tiny switch on or off. That switch runs in line with one of the wires to the rear motor. Would that increase voltage to the front motor?

It would be much easier to just use a Pico switch. Just put it on a 3rd channel and click

I used to run an EVX in my Clod with an RX pack and the single pack mod... It worked extremely well with 27 and 35t motors... I was getting in excess of an hour run-time, as well... It's a good choice to start with...

I also ran a DUD dig and that worked good as well, but I didn't do the lock the wheel mod with it... Maybe in my next DUD foray, I may make it a 3p...

The DUD dig is a great and easy way to dig a Clod... But I don't remember if the front got more juice or not... I don't think it did... But with another ESC that's "single motor", it just might...

They don't have a drag brake and the delay will bite you. It's not a bad setup, but there are some situations that the truck will roll back or forward and you can't stop it.
