Your question isnt really clear, ive read it a couple times and cant honestly figure out what your asking. BUT, ill take a stab and say if you go with the rooster crawler to not go over their 7 cell max. I believe there are a couple used in the classifieds right now, thats where i got a screaming deal and it works great thus far.

Please explain your exact question(s) clearly.

Maybe then, others here can help. You seem to be just rambling.

he burnt up his ESC using an 8 cell pack. hes wondering if he buys the ROOSTER setup, can he run his 8cell pack with it.

pretty easy to read, just dont try to read anything into it other than what he has typed.

IF he goes with the Sidewinder, MUST he use the BEC with it to run his 8cell pack.

i would suggest the rooster and the Bec to limit your voltage to 7.2v.

I think your asking for suggestions? So here is mine. I would definatly go with a sidewinder and a ccbec. Total on that would be about 95 before shipping. Right in your ballpark and one heck of a setup! 70 for the sidewinder and 25 for the bec
