Default Mamba max no reverse problem?

hey guy i just upgraded to a mamba max ESC and a spektrum dx2.0 radio and receiver and a integy 55t. I was able to log onto the esc via my computer, I looked everything over, I have the reversed motor selected not brushless, reverse power is at 100%, but still nothing. When go full reverse, the esc's red light comes on like it is supposed to, but no reverse. any ideas?

I have the motor set up as a reverse motor red goes to (+) on the motor and black goes to (-) on the motor. White is not being used and is taped off.

thanks in advance.

i'm not familar with the radio you have. on your computer mamba. your motor is set on "forward to brake/reverse" and your motor type is set on on "brushed reversing" also if your radio has your trim setting at:
steering + 0
throttle + 0
and brake at 100%

i had similar problem and it was the brake trim setting on my radio(was not at 100%, it was at 0)

well, hope helps or works...good luck

P.S. IF YOU CAN'T GET IT TO WORK, CALL CASTLE CREATIONS HOTLINE AND THEY WILL WALK YOU THRU IT STEP BY STEP. VERY HELPFUL TECHS .

Did you calibrate it to the radio? That could be your problem, had it happen to me when I switched to spec from a FM....

calibrate radio? I bound the radio to the reciever, and then went through the forward, reverse, neutral steps on the ESC as instructed in the manual. What did you do to fix the problem?

What I meant, just figured would ask if you did it because you didn't say you did. I just had to do that to get mine to work....
