| bec won't connect
I have tried the two bec's that I own with two different castle links, but each time I connect them to the computer, the red light comes on on the castle link and the software recognizes the usb connectivity, but despite the green light being on on the bec itself, it just won't connect. I have replaced the three receiver wires on the bec and all the connections are sound, but it still isn't working, any ideas? I have emailed castle but they have yet to reply.

Is the BEC plugged into your RX, or hardwired to your ESC's power wires? Try plugging a battery into the BEC.

well, that's another problem, when I plug the bec into a battery with the receiver plug on the bec not being plugged in, the bec does not turn on, is that normal?

My CCBEC also connects fine when nothing is soldered to the bec's input wires. Only time mine didn't connect was when installed on the truck and I had the ESC turned ON. Then the green light on the bec came on, but castle link wouldn't connect to the BEC. No problems when I firgured out the ESC must be turned OFF. | |

got a new bec now it works great I think I left my esc receiver power wire plugged in when I first plugged in the bec, which promptly stopped it from working right |
