I'm doing a little experiment with 4 packs, used in my emaxx
they are Duratrax 4600 7 cell packs that I rebuilt side by side with good bars so as far as I can tell they're near perfect:-P
anyhow, I'm charging 1 set at 1 amp then running for 25 minutes and the other set charging at 4.5 amps and running for 25 minutes gonna see which set dies first. I'll post about it eventually.
Reason I'm doing this is too many people have their own opinion about slow charge or fast charge or what have you so I'm going to see for myself.
I also have 2 saddle packs of elite 1500's coming from cheapbatterypacks.com and plan on doing 1 at .5 and 1 at 1.5 and see how that goes.

for 2/3 cells its good to charge at a max rate of what they are rated at (one hour charge) 1400mah - max 1.4amps 1100mah - max 1.1amps, but I always do a real slow charge the first few cycles, then after broken in i will pretty much do max charge rate on mine.

1amp charge for those 1500elite cells will be solid. wont take all that long (hour and a half if DEAD DEAD, in theory... but I hear the elites hold more than 1500mah once broken in):-P

They tend to loose a little runtime if you charge above 1 amp. Old adage is slow charge for run time fast charge for punch.

Yeah I kinda just do that to cut down on the charge time, 10 cells at 2 amps still takes almost two hours...
