I stayed away from this thread before getting the radio, and messed around for an hour or so today. I found and programmed the exact same things you guys did :lol:

First I changed the functions to level 3 control--
Jog wheel-->
*menu-T-->
Select Type >level3
Select Exec -- Push + & -

Then I went back a screen (end) and now you can use the + and - buttons to select two whole screens of programming features. I set up mix 1 on the grip button to give front dig, one of the dials to control my rear wheel trim, and the other dial for front trim.

I am officially done with stick radios for comp use I think, so far I am very impressed with the control I have with the dial and button.

John are you using the latest style of programming we are using in this thread?

JohnRobHolmes 01-10-2009 09:39 PM

I origionally set it up with the front ESC on ch 2 and the rear on ch3. This would allow me to use a 3 channel rx if I needed to. With the 4ch rx it may be easiest to just use 3 and 4 for the ESCs. Then the BEC can go straight into ch 2 no problem.

No...I was using DSM airtronic M11...last comp...did ok on the first course until I got a call for my on-call service job @ Ukiah...and I was pissed cause they needed the equipment...so I rushed the rest of the courses...I gave back my 1.9 score card to Dean...and told him next time...1.9

LIKES2CRAWL 01-17-2009 10:56 PM

Could the 4PK be used on a super for rear str and still be able to do digs or dose the mixxing not allow that many functions? I read thru all the examples but didn't see what I was looking for.
