Default Sensored ESCs/Sensorless motors

Would a sensored ESC work with a non-sensored motor? Such as a Novak goat with a Crawlmaster?

Unless you have an RS Pro. It operates both sensored and sensorless motors. I use an RS Pro for a holmes hobbies black revolver, and several novak motors.
