Anyone know when it'll be showing up in stores? I'd cheerfully buy one for $250. The telemetry would be really handy for my Savage.

yeah just saw the youtube previews

definatly looks good for the nitro guys.
the fact that its almost 100 dollars less than the dx3r is a plus (this might be the ticket for the guys that have been inkeling for a dx3r type radio)and they no longer have to get the telelmerty moduale for their radio

i think i'll stick w/ my dx3r though

anybody know anything about the 3rd channel though? 2 position or 3 position

also i wonder if the interchangable hand grips will work w/ a dx3r? the grip on my 3r feels a little small to me

Looking at the online manual it says 2 pos. No go for dig.:-( It is mixable for 4ws or crab walk. I'll stick with my modded DX3.

Hey your right its 2 position will work for locked dig but not unlocked also.
Looks like DX3r 3 position will work best for me. This will work for my nitro though $250 sounds good

3rd channel: Only a two position, and the button is on the side of the wheel.

As for the grips the DX3R won't fit, but comes with three sizes to fit an all new case.

I've been tinkering with one for about three months in all my vehicles. The telemetry rocks!

10 models they need to at least add a way to expand that.. a CAMPACC like futaba use's would be sweet.. I want a 100 model memory... how hard could it be to add a USB plug somewhere on the radio that could expand that memory..

I think the 2 position switch will do it in for the crawler crowd. Looks like a DX3r is stil the ticket for 2.2.

If its like the dx3r you should be able to mod it yourself and add a backlight

This would be the deal breaker. The telemetry would be great for my 8ight T, but the 2 position 3rd channel kills it for me.

Why does everyone freak out about 2-3 position switching. Digging is intended to let the truck turn better right? When would you ever need to free wheel?
