| Wtf Wtf Wtf Lathe?!?!?!
Trying to re-time my lathe and there is only a screw hole at the 0* Mark... so WTF... how can I retime this SOB...

| What you need to do is loosen, just loosen, the two screws that hold on the endbell. Then (with the screws still holding the endbell on) turn the endbell. While looking down at the endbell, counterclockwise will advance the timing and clockwise will retard the timing. OR, While looking at the motor from the side (motor standing striaght up on its shaft) turn the endbell to the right to advance, and to the left to retard the timing. |

| FYI> The plate that the "screw holes" are in will rotate inside the can when turning the endbell. Then when the screws are tightened again it will clamp down keeping the endbell in place. Hope that makes sense. |
