| sidewinder and wich brushed motor
I have a ax10 comp rig with a sidewinder esc i run 6 cell match packs from 1700mah to 4300mah and would like to get a integy motor that give me good wheel speed but also good torque any suggestions thanks

well a good middle of the road starting point, depending on gearing, would be a 55t

I am running stock spur wich is A 85T and i have a bunch of pinions i just want good torque and wheel speed

With a 6 cell battery the performance will be lacking regardless of the motor you pick. It will either be to slow or lack torque. For an AX10 I say a 45t Integy is good with a 15t pinion and an 8cell pack. Thats what I ran and I was pleased. Either way make sure you put on some caps to reduce RF noise. I highly suggest you step up to an 8 cell nimh pack (2/3a). It's a huge difference from a 6 cell. Once you do you'll wonder why you waited so long. |
