Default sidewinder on 4s?

it says in the specs 12cell ni-mh which would lead me to beleive it would support a 4s lipo but i wanted to confirm this.. lookin to buy new batteries so im reasearchin all my options.

I run mine on 4s, need to get a BEC and do the red wire mod to avoid frying Rx and servos.

do the red wire mod to a short servo extension so that your sppeed controller wire stay fixed. got this trick from castle. thought id share.

i already run a cc bec and pulled the red wire from the esc so its all good for 4s? im runnin a novak 55 will i see a good wheel speed jump from this?

Yes, that's how I have run mine since last spring with no issues(except quicker motor/brush wear). Wheelspeed jump?.........yessir If you were running a 3cell before, you're adding another 4.2 volts to it......big jump.

yea im runnin an apogee 3s 1000mah but i want a little more punch @ full throttle.. lookin at these any1 tried em? http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...C_Lipoly_Pack_

ok not exactly related but sorta. If I add the CCBEC to the sidewinder can I run it with the 5600kv motor on 3s?

I havent tried the 4S but I run the Zippy 3S 1500mAh and they are great packs! No problems charging. I did buy the balance adapter for my Hyperion charger, but I think the Hyperion balancer tap will work with them.

The 4S will give you that extra punch.
