Default Tekin FXR question

I noticed in another persons thread that they said they were running 45T motors on their Berg off of an FXR. I was under the impression that a single 35T was about as much load as you could put through a FXR. Would two 45Ts not be too much through a single FXR?
Thanks

Technically, yes. Tekin rates the FX-Rs down to a single 35 turn motor on 3S lipos. Some people feel safe enough pushing the limits, and as you've read, say it's okay. My guess is at some point, it won't be okay.

I was testing their B1-R controllers for them and found the lower limits. I believe they will be rating them for higher than what I found, to allow a cushion or margin of safety. Same goes for the FX-R.

On a 2S lipo it will go considerably lower than 35 turns, like down to 14 turns.

Then there's the FX-R Pro version...

a little off -topic, does the CC sidewinder can handle the same as FX-R you mentioned above ( a single 35 turn motor on 3S lipos)?

According to page 8 on the user manual for CC sidewainder, in brushed mode, reversing or non reversing, there is no motor limit. http://www.castlecreations.com/suppo...er%20Guide.pdf

that's what I'm running. it is working killer! i have seen no problems. the FXR dose not even get warm. the Cobalt 7T does get warn after 30mins or so. but like a said warn, not hot. the combo has lots of wheel speed and killer torque. oh that combo will kill stock drive shafts in no time. i woulds say ped shafts are a min.
