Default 1/4 scale servo hook up questions

Right now I have two standard servos with 111oz of torque.
From what I have read in the previous posts 1/4 scale servos require a receiver pack because of the high drain. I'm going to get the cs 80's so those come with a Y-harness. Would the servos be fine running on 7.2 volts in series? Because series would divide the voltage between the two servos right? I know to low right. Or maybe I could wire a cooling fan system to take some of 7.2 voltage away. What voltage would I need to power two servo.

I can get 7.2 lithium Ion packs for cheap.

Or should I just make a few packs of nimh

I think you mean parallel? They'd only be getting 3.6 each though then, although I bet those on 3.6V would still tear the sh!t outta anything that got in their way!! I might do that, cause I'm afraid the CS80 is too much for my knuckles.

any updates on this setup?
i just ordered two of these servos for my crawler and was thinking of doing the same, splitting a 7.2 batt between the two servos.

don't forget that with series the easiest one will get most of the power.which usually is the rear, the one that don't need it as much
