Default Mounting ESC and Receiver

I currently only have the 3-link front & rear and would like to mount my esc & reciver on the front 3-link.

My question is, how far apart does the ESC & Receiver need to be to avoid any interference? Is it OK to mount both of them on the front 3-link with a little space between them? I am mounting a FXR & Spektrum receiever sr3100.

Thanks,
Mike P

I would mount your ESC on the front and mount your receiver above the tranny or in the rear 3 link. I persoanlly have not had any issues but I wouldn't think there would be that much interference just no alot of space

spektrum is pretty good about not having any interference so mount it how ever you want!

Thank you for the reply's, my currentl esc & eciever are mounted under the top battery mount and keeps everything clean. I am playing with the idea of getting the battery ount off for a little better COG.

Heres a shot of how i mounted them on my ax 10. Homemade 3 link plates made out of plexiglass.

I'v got my FXR and SR3100 mounted side by side on a plate on the tranny and have not had any problems at all. I would run the caps on the motor though.
