|  Will This Battery Work?
I found a hard case LiPo by Team Orion that fits perfectly on my crawler. It is a 2 cell 1500mah LiPo receiver pack. It is labeled 7.4v 2S-1P. Would this have a high enough discharge rate to power a 55t lathe motor hooked up to a Tekin FXR speed controller? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR THE INPUT! |

Probably not because reciever packs are not ment for high amp draw situations. Your reciever probably only draws 1-2amps tops where as a crawler can draw over 30 easily. But to be sure check the C rating and use this formula for peak amp rating ( C rating X 1.5 = ___amps ) The 1.5 is 1500mah / 1000 = 1.5 amphours.
