| no brakes, help me out
just got my new dx3s, awesome radio, i set up my slash, did everything by the book to set the esc to the reciever and radio, all good there, bind the radio to reciever, and i don't have any breaks, got full forward and reverse with the delay, but no breaks, anyone know what i did wrong. this is the firest real radio i have owned before, so please be easy on me, it could be somethng so simple. thanks |

The ESC is what controlls the breaks... you sure it's set up in the correct mode?

i did the whole hold the button wait for the red light go full ahead, then full reverse and got the green light but it seems like i don't have breaks

We need to know what kind of ESC you are running to be able to help you out on this. Like he just said in his post, the ESC controls the brakes. Now the brakes can be tuned on the TX, but the ESC is what has the brakes. Are you running a brushed or brushless motor?

I would also check the epa's settings on the radio, i did the same thing and nad tyo adjust the epa's for full throw when brakes are applied....hope this helps. |

You know that you are not going to get the kind of brakes out of that ESC like you do in a Novak crawler or Mamba right or a ESC for crawlers.....Check your settings on your DX3R.....
