Default guys i need some help pretty bad.

I just got everything hooked up to test out all my electronics, First problem was my motor is turning backwards, OK OK i know how to fix that one but what was weird is i hooket the positive up to the red side on the motor, (35t warrior) oh well i will switch my plug around,

ok second problem is i am having horrible jerking issues, the is vertuall no low throttle controll it is real twitchy, Then when you are going it is label to go full throttle for just a split second then quit and do it again.

i am using an old crappy futaba 2 channel rx/tx. and a traxxas xl-5

i had my battery right in front of my motor but behind my shocks, and when i moved it away from the motor it seemed to get better but was still not near right,

any Ideas?

With the motor going the wrong way you probably have a switch on the TX to reverse it. As far as the other problem make sure you don't have the antenna touching any metal. Also make sure it is not right next to your motor. Did you program the ESC to your radio?

A picture of your setup would help us out a lot in tracking down what's wrong Do that and we will get you up and going

You need to shorten your power wires a bit. The shorter the better and less interference on the RX as well. What kind of servo are you running and are you using a BEC on your crawler?

Do you have capacitors installed on the motor?

no caps. I think it may be this old crappy receiver picking up any other signals. I do see sparks in side the motor when it is going all crazy though.

If you have sparks when going forward you need to adjust the timing.

it wasn't the timing i checked it was on 0*. I shortened the power wires, and i do think the 35t warrior has micro capacitors installed from what I read. It is still undrivable. I should be getting another rx and tx in the mail soon. hopefully that will fix it.
