| Hyperion EOS0606iAD??
I just bought a new hyperion charger since I have some lipo batteries on order too. For now I am just gonna be charging my Nimh packs on it. I noticed that is will discharge them as well. Is it good to do that every once in a while to completly drain them or should just recharge them?

NIMH are not affected by memory. They don't really notice if you discharge them or not before charging. I sometimes set my 0606 to cycle mode that is full charge then discharge then recharge. I've noticed a little better performance out of my cells as it wakes them up a bit. This is only when I have time other wise I just charge.

I use my nimh packs only for racing which is only twice a month so I usually cycle them discharge to charge the night before and then just charge them as needed on raceday. On off weeks I will do the same discharge to charge cycle once. |

If you got the time and capability to cycle them, it really shouldn't hurt any thing to do it. Also like said above, it should wake the cells up some for that little extra punch.

This chargers max discharge rate is 1.0 amps so that is the max it will discharge the pack at.
