Default metal gear servo with moped esc

I was wanting to know what a good metal geared servo that the moped esc could handle for around $40. I dont want to cut any wires or add any other battery, i want to keep it simple. I have looked at some hitecs and futabas but not shure what would be the best. I dont plan on competing just crawling and bashing. Also the servo will be used in a 2.2 crawler.

a Hitec HS-645-MG is kinda the standard entry level servo. Or the TowerPro (TowardPro or whatever it is now) 946R

Those TP servos are cheap, so don't expect the world of 'em. You get what you pay for. Some people swear by 'em, others hate 'em. It's a crap shoot as to whether or not you get a good one or a bad one.
