Thumbs up My new Tekin FX-R ESC & 55T Crawler Combo...WOW!!!

Well, as most of you probably know, I made the mistake of buying the Novak Rooster 55T Crawler Combo without first doing my research. On the very same day that it came in the mail, I found the very large and very informative product review thread about the Tekin FX-R 55T Crawler Combo...needless to say, I was very upset! Anyway, I returned the Novak system, and then ordered the Tekin system just as soon as I could...and it came in the mail today!!!

First, WOW...this ESC is tiny!
Second, everything about it is perfect...the design, the layout, the accessories that come with it and how they hook up, the graphics, everything!
Third, the included wire is excellent...nice and thick, yet super flexible. The cap has been shrink-wrapped in clear, so that it can be strapped, taped, or glued to any surface without having to worry about shorting anything out or getting any interference through contact.
Fourth, the motor is also very nice...the end-bell is very attractive and easy to work on, the graphics are great, the pinion shaft has a flat-side for proper pinion set-screw mounting.
Overall, I am very pleased with this kit, but I will know much more once I get everything installed and up & running. As of right now, though, I am very impressed with Tekin!

I am almost done with the prototype crawler that this system is going in, so I will be able to run it soon, as soon as I get off my ass and finish the prototype!
