Default Hitec 7955TG very noisy

I decided to replace my Hitec 5995 because I thought it was little weak and it was very noisy. They have been on my Berg and have a CC Bec set at 6 volts feeding them. I could not stand the constant buzzing from the 5995 so I thought a new servo would be in order. The 7955 does the same stuff. I feel like its weak also ( if I lay my berg on its side either servo will not pick up the front of the car ) I have looked at my buddies who are both running JR servos and there car are quiet, and way more powerfull. Am I missing something?

make sure your servos are centered and set, as far as the noise, its not as bad if set properly, I have mine both 5955 and the newer ones set at 7v and are plenty strong...

I have the same servo on my Berg and it does buzz a bit but is really powerful. The buzz seems to come and go

Make sure your steering is not binding. Check it with the wheels spinning, as well as not spinning. Hitec 5xxx and 7xxx servos are noisy to begin with.

Digtal servos are always trying to find center so they always make a little noise. Its normal.

Isnt 7 volts kind of high for one of the servos?

7 volts is a little high, and will shorten its lifespan. All digital servos make some degree of noise, the hitecs seem to do it a little more. With the heavy front ends of these vehicles, these servos will always try to find its center.Thats its job.

Those servos are strong even after being abused and overheated. If your steering isn't up to snuff I would question the BEC or the steering linkage setup.

If your buddies are running 8711 servos, then it's because they have 70oz/in more than the Hitecs, at 6v
