| Trouble with delay
I have a Novak Roster ESC, Novak 55 motor, and a CC BEC. controlled by a Futaba 3PM. Randomly when I go to reverse it will delay for about two seconds. It usualy goes instantly. I have tried changing the settings on the 3PM and I see it with both my 8 cell batts and 6 cell batts. Any Ideas? I never had this before I installed the BEC and Fifty Five motor. I used to use an Integy 55, 44 turn motor. The BEC is installed as per manufacurers specs. |

I'd do what most manufacturers suggest to try first, and that's redo the ESC set up. So make sure to set all your trims to zero, and reprogram the ESC. If it still happens, I'd send an email over to Novak. Something inside the controller might be on it's way out.

Turns out it was the BEC. Did some trouble shooting and found it to be draining the system. I will have to add a bigger cap. to have the ECS not cut out anymore. But for now I am just running without it.
