I use an MRC Superbrain 989 to charge my Nimah batteries..It is a lipo capable charger according to MRC.

I want to try Lipos but I'm not sure if I still need to buy a balancer in order to charge it in my MRC 989..

Anybody else here who uses th superbrain 989?Pls help me make the most out of my charger. Thanks in Advance

I have been using a SuperBrain 989 since they first came out...I LOVE mine. I use it to charge every battery i have....especially Lipos.
Its extremely easy to use, just set it and forget it.

I use a AstroFlight Blinky for balancing
