The way you've got it wired is IMO the best way to use the CCbec, isolates the servo from the rest of the system. As to why it's causing the servo to turn, you've got me there. The only thing i can see, and it might mean nothing, is the the way you have the BEC and servo hooked up. I run a "y" harness: BEC into female, servo into female; signal wire to rx. Works perfectly!!

hey Flud, Are you sure your steering servo isn't your problem. is it a stock RTR servo?

| No' I'm only powering the steering servo. The "y" harness comes pre-wired with two female connectors and a male. Plug the servo into one of the females, bec into female; disconect + - to rx, with only signal wire to rx.

i have mine wired like that too but dont have a problem.... i had the same problem in my savage 25, i had some bent axle stubs and when i gunned it it would pull to the bent axle stub and also made my bearings go bad after a while. i would check the bearings and the axles and the bones going to the hubs to make sure there not bent |

Is it when the servo gets under load too? Your battery pack could be dropping very low voltage, or the BEC is not adjusting to the voltage drop fast enough (bad bec). Do you have another battery pack to try? How much wire is between the BEC and servo? What voltage is the BEC set to? |

I tride it with a 3 cell lipo and it did the same i cut the wires to about 2in and it still did the same. the bec is at factory seting 5.1v Now I have it wired with it pluged in to rx and removed the esc red wire, it works good now but when I cet a better servo and a usb interface Id like to be able to bypas the rx. | |

That is very interesting. I can't pin down what the issue would be with those symptoms.

i've got the same problem in my outlaw hitec 805bb servo (1/4 scale), independant bec for it set at 6v, 3700mah 7.4v lipo, 2 sidewinders, big brushless motors, 35mhz 6 channel stick radio (china brand) i also run 2 tts 995's on the rear with there own bec set at 7.2v if i'm climbing a ledge or a long smooth climb were the motors are really working then the front servo will go full lock left every now and then i just figured it was radio interference because it didn't happen when i had brushed motors in |
