Default Spektrum DX3 Lipo Help

I just purchased a lipo for my Spektrum DX3 and was doing some research and I seen a couple things where JR and Spektrum use reverse polarity. So how would I got about wiring the lipo in. Just hook the positive from the battery up to the negative wire in the TX and the negative to the positive or what? Just want to figure it out before I go to put it in. Thanks.

Hi

I wouldn't reverse polarities before I was sure. I'm not sure what you mean by "reverse polarity", but you know you can reverse the direction of throttle or servo response right on your DX3 in software right?

I think it is just the charge port on the radio that is reversed. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.......
