What radio do you have? If it is your servo HiTec is great about warranty returns, check out their website for details. |

This is an easy one: Rule of thumb: The first time you install servos, take the servo arm off the servo and power up the electronics and bind to the transmitter. When everything is in its neutral position, hook the servo arm back up to the servo in the correct alignment. From then on, just a little trim on the transmitter may be necessary, but your setup will be almost perfect. One thing to remember is your servo is always working to keep position, even when it is in the middle of its travel. If for some reason your servo is going all the way to one side and is struggling there, turn the power to it off immediately or you can burn it out. Then do the above setup. That being said, most servo manufacturers will fix your burned out servo for free, no questions asked. I had some HiTec servos go on my Helicopter for this same reason, and they burned out. HiTec replaced them. Good luck with your build! -Migs Last edited by Migs; 01-11-2009 at 04:15 AM. |
