Default more steering throw

I am looking to purchase high clearance knuckles for my ax-10 to improve my steering angle, but it seems the llimiting factor will be the servo. My servo already goes lock to lock and just barely maxs out the stock set-up. I''m using a tq3 tx and rx.

How do I gain more servo throw? I don't want to use a servo strecther because its bulky and I already have to use one for my dig.

I was thinking that, but it looks like it'll interfere nicely with the drag link.

You could put washers or a plate under the servo to space it up so the longer arm will fit. I removed the steering wheel on my TQ3 and trimmed 1/8(too much!) of an inch off the steering stop. I got more steering that way. I used a knife-not recommend. File about 1/16 of an inch off. I cut too much off the first time. When you turn and hit the gas the servo will stay turned and lock until you turn off the esc. I fixed mine melting down the turn stop. It works good now. Good luck. I did this mod on my stock Axial radio also and it worked good. It's cheap! Matt

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like I found just what I needed.
