Exclamation Sidewinder esc loosing its programing

Has anyone had this issue, I program it with the castle link, everything works fine, the next day i plug the batt in and the esc has reset back to default...., to fix the issue i have to plug it back in and reload my settings.....is this something im doing wrong or something i need to send back to castle to be repaired?. The cc sidewinder has been working great for almost a year with no issues except this, the only thing different is i changed radios from a dx6 to a dx6i witch should not make a difference?

Is it possible these esc have some type of batt in them to retain there programing? I've had this one for almost a year now and had it on the shelf for about a month? I have a call into cc to check what might be wrong, I'll post what i find.

settings are stored in non-volatile memory, and should not require a battery backup (kind of like a USB flash drive)

try programming the ESC, run the truck for a bit, then disconnect the battery. wait a few minutes, and plug it back in. what happens?

i have other mamba's that haven't seen battery power for months, and they don't lose their settings, so i'm thinking that you may want to call up CC if the problem continues.

Are you useing the Switch to turn-on-off or just unplugging it? I have heard that unplugging it (not using switch) and plugging back in can screw with the Memory Could be just rummor though

I hardwire my ESCs on, and have never had this issue.

Well aparently it turned out to be a radio issue, my dx6i even though was at 0 sub trim and at 0 main trim was not actually centered. I went to the monitor screen and found this out. i had to use the sub trim to get the channel to center correctly before powering up the esc. what was happening was when i turned the radio on then the esc, the esc thought the radio was at part throttle therfor trying to recalibrate the esc. so far now everything is working great. I've turned it off and on a dozen time with no issues..... I'd liek to find a way to center the channel without using the sub trim if possible, i'm going to check for an adjustable pot inside the radio...?
