| setting output on a bec?
Hey guys. I am wanting to use the bec to power a 7.2v winch up front. I am using 8.4V packs. how do I set the output voltage on a bec? Also If I am running an xl-5 speed controll I heard this can eliminate the turning it on and off. But the xl-5 programs with the on off switch so could I still reprogram it If i was using the BEC?

you need to DL castle link (considering its a CC BEC). and plug it into your cpu, open the castle link software, and program. cant help on the 2nd part. what do you mean by "it Can Help by Turning it Off?" |

| This is the diagram that castle gives you to wire your bec up with. I have been told that this is not the best way to do it. If you do wire in the bec it will power the servo even when your esc is switched off. So youll need to unplug your battery after you stop driving. Wire it up like this. It will still power the servo up when you plug in your battery. And i dont know what else you are asking. |
