Default Soldiering Brake line?

Is it possible to soldier brakeline or maybe even mig weld it (like tack welding)? I never tried it before just wondering as i want to make a tuber chassis.

I believe brake line is galvanized....your best bet is to braze brake line.

Default Brake line build info

Yes, you can solder brakeline.

You need to use silver solder with the correct silver solder flux.

Use a MAP gas torch.

There is a good article here on rccrawler in the tech area on this.

You can MIG or TIG weld brake line, but you need to sand off the galvanizing first.

CAUTION: Welding anything that has been galvanized without removing the gavanized coating first will give off Cyanide gas - very toxic!

Follow the directions in the tech article, and have fun!
