hi. i am taking on a new project. MOA 1:28 scale crawler. i am planning on using a DX3R with micro Sized Rx. 2 - 130 sized brushed motors.(Kyosho X-Speed Mini-Z Motor V) Motor specs: 50T single wound wire. Wire is .012 thick battery pending ESC my question is, what is the smallest ESC i can find to run dual motors. and since dig isnt going to be a function , should i run the motors parallel or in series? ive read up on using the circuit board of a servo as an ESC , would that be enough power to move those small motors? keep in mind this is supposed to fit under a 1:28 scale shell. not looking to spend alot since the Rx alone is going to cost me... this is one of those "winter blues" project. Probably a mamba 25 or Tekin B1R. Wire them in parallel if you will be crawling. The amp on servo board probably won't handle two of them, depending on how fast the motors are. You may have about 3 amps to spare before the average servo controller will blow. |
