Default Super power and powertrain thoughts...

So as luck would have it I'll be getting a pretty good tax return this year. I plan to snip a bit off and put it towards some new running gear for my 9.5 lb Maxx based super.

Or buy a Slash and a couple of 7 cell stick packs. I haven't decided yet.

Anyway...

I'm thinking of a Mamba Max and one of HH's outrunners or a BM16, but I'm not sure which one would be best for me. I've currently got a 3000kv brushless in it now and love the wheel speed, but its lacking a bit in torque. I'd like to shift the power just a bit more to the torque side without sacrificing too much of the needed speed.

My old stick packs are close to retirement, so I thought I'd try some lipo power. I'd like to run 3c's, but this will be the only rig I have that would be able to handle that voltage, so I'll probably end up with 2c's. How much capacity should I be shopping for? I'll also need a decent, reliable, affordable charger.

I'll figure that I should have about $300 to play with here. I can get the esc from a freind in the rc boat world who's semi sponsored by CC, so that'll be a big help with the budget.

Whats my best route here?
