Set the cc bec to 6 volts...and the cc sidewinder will handle up to 11.1 volts so ans 8.4 will work fine. hope this helps... |

That HiTec servo will handle more than 6 volts but the benefits aren't worth the risk in my book, stick with 6 volts |

If the sidewinder will handle 11.1V it's ok to up the voltage to 9.6 then, obviously. But what difference will this make? more torque? Last edited by jordi555; 02-10-2009 at 02:30 PM. |

More voltage will give you higher motor RPMs and torque. I went to an 8 cell 1500 MaH pack and geared down a little bit.
