| Fried my Ko ESC
How on Earth did I do this? I'm running a super stock TLT-1 with all the stock stuff minus a locked rear. My esc was a Ko Propo 1100FR and a P2k2 Pro motor. That thing is only 27 turns and it still killed my esc. What gives??? I wish I was running a Tekin. :(

Overly tight gear mesh (or any other kind of binding in the drivetrain) can kill any esc.

It wasn't that, I've been racing TA04's for a while so I know the gear mess on those all too well and it's the same as a TLT. Thanks for the comment though, a lot of other sites will let my question just slip thru the cracks.

Can you explain the situation with a little more detail, like what were you doing when it died. How many cells were you using? How long had you been running?

I was running a 6 cell pack. I had ran it the day before outside and it was fine, no real dirt or water at all. Then I cleaned it and brought it into the house to chase my dog. I did a couple of circles on the carpet and went down the hall way. I then turned around and it just stopped. I sure hope I can get a cheap Tekin, I'm falling in love with their products.

Just the dew on the grass in the morning. The esc didn't get wet. That's how little and slow I ran it outside just in case.
