| Quick LiPo question
My 1st Li Po, it's a C.S. 2 cell (7.4V) The balance plug has 3 wires, 2 reds, 1 black. If I read from 1st red to black I get the voltage of 1 cell, if I read from 2nd red to black I get pack voltage. Is there a way to read the voltage of the other cell by it's self? Red to red? I was a little afraid of trying this (I have been exposed to the scare tactics against Li Po's ) LOL. |

yes, try red to red wires: 1st and 2nd = first battery 2nd and 3rd = second battery 1st and 3rd = a pack Last edited by deephis46; 02-24-2009 at 09:35 AM. |

Umm I thought it was On the balancer plug...red to the first black is one cell, then red and the other black is the other cell..if you have a 2S you will have 2 black, each wire going to each cell and the red going to all the cells. If you want to know the voltage of the whole battery, check the battery plug side, where you charge it. maybe I was wrong. |
