Post Wire Mamba Max to Pulse 21.5

I just programmed my Mamba Max for my crawler, now I am ready to get it wired up to my RC4WD Killer Krawler but I need help again!

The Castle Creations Mamba Max has a Red Wire (R), a White Wire (W) and a Black Wire (B).

The Trinity Pulse 21.5 has 3 poles (A), (B), and (C).

How do I connect these two, very different ideas between the two manufactures, please help!

Assuming the motor is sensorless(only way it will work with the MM)it doesn't matter which wires go where. If it goes backward when you hit forward throttle, just swap any 2 wires

Let us know how it reacts when you get it bound down.

Checked out the Trinity web-sight. It appears that the "pulse" motors are "sensored" (at least from what I can tell, the DUO's aren't) so sorry but I don't think the Mamba will work:-( But please double check

It will work just fine. Stalling situations will be interesting.

I will send feedback, this is one of six brushless motors we are testing in this beast, then we will move onto brushed.

We will include how they perform including a dyno report on each one.

I was warned about the stalling, although Trinity claims they have reworked the motor to reduce stalling. Looks the same to me.

I am too busy, did not pay attention that this was not sensored. I should know better, I am a complete idiot! I have only installed these in brushed applications since I like this ESC but did not pay any attention when I wanted to connect it to a sensored brushless.

Sorry to waste your time for the dumb question!

If you are testing multiple Brushless motors you should get a Sensored Brushless ESC like the Tekin RS.

The difference between sensorless and sensored with a 21.5 motor is night and day.

So I would stay on topic, I just asked this question in a new post but looks like you answered my question! Thanks, I will order one now.
