can i run my little battery pack (i think its a 4.5v) along with the power from my ESC. I was wondering if this will hurt anything because i would like to run both packs to help out the run time and power. thanks

Are you talking running a receiver pack, or just splicing in an additional battery pack to a standard 6-Cell pack? Running a receiver pack properly is ok, but I wouldn't reccomend just splicing in another battery pack with the main pack - the extra voltage would probably kill your ESC. If you want more power and runtime, look into an ESC that can handle more cells, and getting higher capacity packs.
