| Drag brake issue, MM.
I'm running a Mamba Max, 1500 Nimh 7 cell, Integy 65T, MRC 2.4Ghz radio. I set my drag brake to 100%, it works GREAT the 1st time it goes to DB mode, but after that, no DB at all I can re-load the settings, turn it back on, 1st time it will damn near flip the truck over. After the 1st time it comes on, it never does again:-( Any clues? I have tried playing with EVERYTHING, all settings seem to work fine (and stay the way they are set), but the drag brake. |

That's what I'm afraid of. I DON'T want to have to send it back, I don't want to without my new ESC for over a month:-( They say that is about the turn around time |

Have you tried to reset the settings, upload that to the MM, then reload the settings you want? Perhaps there was a glitch in the software. Why 100% drag? I'm not even running that much drag brake and I can get my rig to park itself pretty quick with only a 35 turn motor and non-sticky tires. Seems like at 100% your rig would flip over on a down hill slope. |

Well, I went to 100% in an effort to fix it. I was running 70% before, and quite happy with it, till it quit working right. The 1st time it kicks in it will just about flip the truck over! but it only comes on the 1st time...............after that, NOTHING.

Try a differnt version of the Castle Link software. Shouldn't make a difference but worth a shot. I saw another thread like this before but it was a while ago. |

OK, so I reverted the firmware, it started working consistently But it's not very strong :-( So I updated again to the latest firmware, still working right, but no stronger Guess I need to go motor shopping. |

Try adjusting the nul-zone radio setting on the castlelink advanced settings menu? Prehaps the ESC isn't reading the neutral position of the radio trigger quite right.
