whenever you hook up your Castlelink to your sidewinder and open up the Castlelink software, you will get a message that says there is an update. It is version 1.20, I believe.

My problem is with vista on my vaio, it used to run before, but know it gives me an error message, software in esc is newer than the one i am running or not a valid c.c. esc?? , i have unistalled it twice and reinstalled as castle indicates, i even downloaded a net frame upgrade and no go, i can open the program no problem try to download the updates and it tells me there are no new updates, as soon as i plug either the castle link or the usb for my mamba max it gives me the error message, help please, i am at a loss here, it worked before:-(

I installed the update today and I like it. For some reason in my Super, that annoying beep would cause my Hitec servos to glitch. This fixed that problem and I like the update for my 2.2 as well. This is just another reason why Castle Creation is the best in the business.

Hey guys, I plugged up today and there is a new firmware version for the sidewinder. It is 1.22(beta). The menu options have changed a bit. You can now change the direction of your motor without switching around your motor wires, and you can choose to turn the power-up beep on or off. pretty neato.

I finally bought a Tekin FXR because the Mamba Max drag brake is so weak with a brushed motor. The Mamba Max has such smoother start up and low end throttle control over the Tekin. Common Castle, fix the drag brake because I love all my Castle Creation products.
