yes it will roll a little.....if you do your dig in full bursts it will short/hold the motor stronger and turn alot better.
in a way it actually works to your advantage since at low throttle you get a little bit of freewheel action for ledge climbs or very slow speed downhill manuevering when you dont want your rear completely draggin.

There are 2 ways to wire up the dig, one way shorts the motors giving you dynamic braking, the other just kills power to the motor. The dynamic braking will still allow some roll, but nothing like the second method.

I could be wrong, but wouldn't a nice handwound motor with better magnets hold a little stronger?

It would look similar to this, with the wires going from one switch to the other. (Thanks to Mike(SMR4RUNNER) for the pic)

Another way to tell would be try spinning your tires, you would feel a drag effect, without it turned on.

Of course, motor quality makes a difference as well.

This is the way mine is setup, I do feel drag when I spin the wheels. Thanks for helping me out tanis.

Its your motor....I used to run a integy 55t and once i upgraded to a good epic motor it eliminated tons of the extra rolling. There will always be a bit of roll...but i can pretty much lock my rear and drag it around....

try the motor first...NEVER been a big fan of Integy anyway
