| Winch modded TQ3???
I modified my tq3, and fitted a steering switch from an old transmitter to use as a winch controller. It works nearly flawlessly. The only problem is that when the winch servo I have is plugged in it rotates ever so slightly. My question is, is there any switches I can fit as a trim knob? I cant use the stock trim knobs from the donor transmitter because they are solder in connections and I wont have a way to mount it. sorry for the fuzzy cell phone pics. |

I was thinkin of just using another trim switch from an old tq2 or something. Do you guys think this would work?

On the back of the TQ3,lower left there is a pot that may help fine tune the 3rd channel. It worked for me but not that great.Every once in a while it would start to creep. Its just the way it is with the TQ3 and an anolog servo.I just installed an on/off switch to the servos power wire.Solved the problem.

A freind had the same issue with his servo "creeping", sometimes it would stop if you touched the ant......swapped out the servo for a better one and now it's fine.

I was looking at that little adjuster and was wondering what that was for. Is that a trim switch for the third channel?
