Laptop power supplies. They usually put out 3 to 5A and are sometimes free if you know where to look. Usually you can get one on ebay for $15 to $30 shipped.

50-60$ is the going rate for a decent p/s search fleabay for 12 volt power supply... I got mine for 62$ delivered 13 volts 19 amps and has never let me down even when running 3 chargers off it.... Once you get below the 50$ mark it starts getting questionable if the will do the job. Not saying there isnt a deal out there... try the wanted section... I just saw a charger and p/s for 50$ the other day in the classifieds... Last edited by Lonewolf; 04-01-2009 at 01:15 PM. Reason: spelling |

If you look at laptop power supplies look for one with at least 200 watts of power anhd check the voltage the p/s for my laptop puts out 19 volts which would prolly fry a charger... And still not have enough power to run the charger... What kind of charger are you useing and what cells are you chargeing ??? |
