Default Any good books with RC electrical info?

After reading through a few threads I realized that I have no clue when it come to electronics. For example, this thread (http://rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=145487 ) about Lipos blew my mind lol... I just figured you just threw in the "best" Lipo that your ecs could safely handle and drive away. I wasnt aware that certain Lipo configurations were better in certain setups. I guess I assumed that you would buy the best Lipo that you could afford.

This thread on motors also was confusing to me. http://rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=163617

I am well aware of the threads that are stickied in the various forums but
most of those threads very long because they are littered with random posts. I am sure there is some book out there with some of the basic information I would need to make sense of the great info that is posted on this board.

Thanks
