Here's my batteries I'm going to order. Kills me to have to order 2 of these ($200 +) but I have to have saddle packs. I'm mental and I don't want a huge block of NimH cells on each side of the axle. I just wish they weren't so expensive. http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-2200-111-Saddle.htm Anyhow, I'm getting this Cobalt puller 7t Holmes mamba max Q1. Will that motor and ESC handle that battery? I think so based on the specs. Click to enlarge Cells 6-12 NiCad/NiMH or 2-3s LiPo 5v 3 amp BEC output w/7.2v input Continuous current 100 amps Resistance 0.0003 ohms Brake Proportional Reversible Yes - with lockout Low Voltage Cut-off - Programmable Size of ESC overall: 1.9 x 1.3 x 1.2" 2.5 oz (70.9 g) Q2. Will this goat system handle that battery too? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/18817 I tend to think not, but want to make sure Goat Brushless ESC Specifications: Forward/Reverse: Forward, Drag Brake, Reverse Input Voltage: 4-7 Ni-Cd/Ni-MH cells (1.2V/cell) or 2S Li-Po cells On-Resistance: 0.0012 ohms* (brushless per phase); 0.0012 ohms* (brushed) Footprint: 1.18” x 1.54” (30 x 39 mm) Weight(w/o wires): 1.49 oz. (42.2 g) Rated & Braking Current: 120 amps* (brushless per phase); 120 amps* (brushed) Power Wires: 14-Gauge BEC: 6.0 volt/5.0 amp Motor Limit: 18.5-turn (brushless); 27-turn stock motor (brushed mode) Discrete Steps: 512 Forward; 512 Reverse Battery/Motor Plug: Tamiya (battery); None (motor) Voltage Cut-off: 6.25 volts (when Li-Poly Cutoff Circuitry is enabled) I really want to get 2 of the Manba max and 2 pullers, but I'm trying to save a little coin. |
