Default Why two plugs on lipos?

I am newbie when it comes to lipos. I wanted to get the CKRC's 11.1v, 1500mah, 20C Lipo Pack. I have Vision Peak Ultra charger that charges Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh and 1-3 cell Li-po. I got this a few years ago mainly for Ni-Mh packs. I need to go smaller now, so Lipos is the answer for me. Now, the main question I have is that these lipos have two plugs. One is to power up esc and charging, of course. The other one, I not too sure on it. Is that for plugging in the blancer while charging? Any info is appercaited.

My rig is ax-10 with gopher chassis along with axiom 55, super rooster (I know it is big for it. It came off my old clod) hitec 645 and currently 6 cells GP 3300 Ni-Mh pack (also from old clod). I needed to go smaller due to jetboat's bta. It looks cartoonish with those huge batteries on top. thanks again.

Thanks. It make sense now. Do you plug in blancer and then charge at the same time? Can you recommend a good blancer? Thanks again.

Some people do, and some people don't. I make it a habit to balance every time I charge. Some lipo charges have them built in, and some chargers charge through the balance port.

I can't really recommend a good balancer because there are many different types, and all lipos don't come with the same balance port. I use common sense lipos, so I use this.

Understandable. But thanks for pointing me in the right directions. I'll look into it.

I use that same balancer, cost me less than $30 at the hobby shop and that's what they recomended.

I use it while I charge.

I think I will go that way. At least somebody is running the same items that I have or wanted is having no problems which is good enough for me to get it started into the Lipo world. Again thanks everyone!
