| Where do you buy battery braid?
That's all. I can't seem to find it locallyl. I could order it, but if anyone knows of hardware stores or electrical stores that carry it, that would be more convenient.

My LHS carries it. Not sure who else does.

Radio Shack, or any other electronics store, might be under the name of "desoldering wick" as long as its a flat copper strand braid, it should work great, for lower amp draws.

Thanks billy gunn. You're the man, desoldering braid. I looked at radioshack and the high schoolers that run the place couldn't help me out, but an online check shows that they have the stuff in stock. Maybe they can look it up now that I know the name. So, why is it called desoldering braid?

| I'm lazy and use pre-tagged industrial batteries. Connect 4 in a line and then to make one link up to connect the two packs. Use the same wire as I used on the motors. Seems to be holding up alright. |

I use braid on my AA packs. Really easy to use once you get the hang of it. | |

It's super easy to use. That's why I was trying to find it. I built a double A pack with some braid that I "borrowed" from work. I need to get a roll of my own. I'm not sure why you love batteries so much eepee, but all your posts have been really helpful. Thanks |
