| Spectrum DX2.0 radio question
I ran into a guy earlier today at a local crawling spot. He was using the Spectrum DX2.0 radio. I really liked how it felt. I don't need anything super fancy I just want a 2.4ghz so I don't have to worry about interferance. He told me you can use it as a 3 channel even though it says it's a 2 channel. Is this true? I'm asking because I can save myself $40 by getting this model instead of the Spectrum DX3.0 which is a 3 channel. |

He doesn't know what he is talking about. You can not turn a DX2.0 into a 3 channel radio. The DX3.0 is a 3 channel radio but the 3rd channel only has 2 positions so it is not the best choice either. The DX3.0 is can not be converted from a 2 position 3rd channel into a 3 position 3rd channel. Now, the original DX3(not DX3.0) is 3 channels and the 3rd channel has 3 positions which makes it better suited for our needs. Last edited by Scattman; 05-04-2009 at 02:23 AM. |

Just did the DX2.0 to DX3.0 Conversion. Worked flawlessly. My Brother has the DX3.0 and I checked my newly converted DX2.0 and now has all the same options he's got. 3 Channel Controls instead of 2 4 Models instead of 2 a few extra adjustments that I previously didn't have. I recommend it to all that has a DX2.0. I can now use my DIG. http://www.claserdesigns.com/dx20-dx30conversion.html |
