Default Nomadio React button programing question...

So I've gotten channel 3 to run the servo like I want it, but I have to 3 step it (if there is another way to do it, I haven't figured it out yet...). I'm using one of the toggles to move the servo front/center/back. Is there a way to set the thumb button so that it will return the servo to center?

I don't think so... I always use the thumb wheel, up, center, down. Never really got the button to do anything but increase throw on a servo, like a preset trim.

I take it your trying to use it for a servo dig? Ask JIA, i think he's tired every possible setup with the React.

I had thought about using the wheel, but how do you find center again? I would assume you'd have to watch the little bar on the screen...

I am running a HS-55 micro servo on two HH manly dig switches.

Channel 3

Trim - adjust it to your liking for the throw
Dual Rate - 69 again to your liking
Low End point - 100
High End point - 100
DR Mode - Both
Reverse - On (adjust for you)
Type - Digital
Mode - Toggle
Steps - 3

it will never start up on the Step 2 which is center( i tried setting up failsafes on start up and everything). WHen you turn on the radio/truck it will default to step 3 or 1.. thumb up one click to get back to center or it will cycle around. you'll figure it out. not too tough. Main thing is the toogle mode and 3 steps

I run this setup on my super and 2.2 berg. works like a champ

Thank you sir, that did it. Now if I can find a servo I haven't killed yet...I was going to try a Traxxas micro servo, but apparently they don't like 6.5 volts...

It's nice to know my React isn't the only one that does that

Awesome... glad I could help.

the React does everything i need it too. I use it on 3 trucks. Just bought a new transciever for the SC10.

The Hitec HS-55 micro servo is around $15.. using one on the super and one on the berg, no issues yet.

Now who has all the mixing information to run dual ESC's? Figured out the dig switch programming fairly easily, but am a bit worried about the mixing aspect.

I looked at my settings and for dig on the thumb wheel I have it set to trim rather than toggle. When on toggle if you go too many clicks on the wheel it will continue the sequence. When on trim when you roll the switch down for say rear dig and if you keep rolling down it will stay in rear dig. In toggle it would jump up to front dig if you kept rolling down.

Try the trim setting it may work better for what you want to do.

This happens on my react as well. you turn it on and it will go into one of the dig possitions you click it off the dig and good to go. I also agree that nomadio react is an awsome radio but I think I have got a bad receiver, it will only go about 30 40 feet and shut down. Oh well you might check out the set up vidios from nomadio to help you out.

Cool, Ill give that a try. How many steps? Although, i have gotten used to my clicks. Everynow and then i mess up and have to click twice to recenter.

Three steps for me Up is 4WD down one or middle is freewheel font dig and down is locked front dig. I would assume three steps for a MOA as well.

The problem with the toggle for me is I would lose track of where i was. Now if that happens i go three or more clicks one way or the other and I know where it is without guessing.

I tried using the buttons up by the steering wheel for a while but prefer the thumb roller for dig.

i run dual sidewinders on my nomadio sensor. what was your question about mixing?

ch2 front esc
ch3 rear esc

set a button to turn the D/R to 0 on the rear esc for dig and set a toggle (or wheel on the react) to adjust the D/R for the rear esc in steps of 10 to mix and trim it out on the fly.
