Default Mtroniks Viper Truck ESC

http://www.modelsinmotion.co.uk/prod...556&tamiya=258

With my clod on the way, ive been pricing up all of my gear, and the ESC will be the most painful on the ol pocket..
This newly released ESC looks funky... and should do the job, gonnay be running two lathes and two high torque servos.... Will this thing do ?

Id Rather Avoid splashing out on a rooster or super duty, as I can get this through my LHS at a good price.

I have used an mtroniks before, and it was pants, but it was for a touring car and I was used to a quad expensive LRP f1 pro digial thingy.. lol

helppppppp meeee

# 5-10 cells input voltage Externally mounted BEC

From what I read an understand you will have to run a reciver pack.
But I could be wrong. If you are going to run dual stearing you will want a speedo with about 3amp bec. Other wise youll be wasting you money.

Blood,

I know it's a bit more expensive at £90, but it seems as though it might become quite popular for crawling with time.

I've got one on the Christmas wish list

tekkin2

You could try getting one from over the water but by the time you add postage, possibly VAT and Import Duty it may work out similar in price.

My other choice was gonnay be a ( now a tad hard to dig up ) super rooster, or a super duty but that big speedo there looks good.
Cheers

What is the BEC rating and what exactly is an "externally mounted BEC"?

This was my reply to the same question from a different thread:
Battey Eliminator Circuit. It basically powers the servos without the use of a separate reciever battery pack. To give you an idea of what the numbers mean, the SR has a 6 volt/ 3 amp BEC, the TR2 has a 6 volt/5 amp BEC, and the EVX has a 5 volt/ 1.5 amp BEC.
With higher amp numbers, you are less likely to need a separate pack. The volt # is how many volts your servo is getting.

Sounds cool..... IF I just got the 1.5A speedo, I could just use a small 5 cell pack, think its 2/3AAA or something .... add a little extra weight ;) IF I needed it.... Also save me a wad of cash... hmm......... cheers chaps, will check it out further
